Loft Party!
What a show last night! We finished up our second night in Brooklyn playing a loft party on a roof. Yes. A roof.
When we arrived a sprinkle of rain had been coming down for a few hours (disaster for an outside show). However, our host Brianna ran don the street and boughta bunch of wedding reception-style tents. This helped dry out the deck quite a bit, and by the time the bands began to set up the rain had stopped.
Let me tell you, playing on a rooftop is pretty unexplainable. There was an amazing view of the Manhatten skyline as the sun set, and everyone at the place was in a great mood.
We rounded off the night by combining all of our groups and playing the Beatle’s “Don’t Let Me Down” (followed by an impromtu version of the Who’s “My Generation). If you don’t get the reference, take a peek here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUNxWax8WGs
I’m a little scared of our 7hour drive to Harrisonburg, VA today, but I’m sure we will make it!
P.S. Tomm is uploading some of my pics to his computer, so maybe some will come at you soon.

This is the blog of Gypsy Death and You, a two-piece band from Philadelphia. Emily Cahill and Alex Wilson formed the band after meeting in a music course during their freshman year of college, writing and recording their own brand of pretty/noisy indie rock.
